Ostensibly, this is the story of Eleven Madison Park, but really, it is a story about hospitality.

A lot of life can be thought of from the perspective of a hospitality or a service business, and Guidara sets the bar for what excellence means in that regard.

While the stories and anecdotes of how EMP went from a two-star brasserie to the best restaurant in the world are themselves inspiring (surviving 2008, incubating Shake Shack etc.), what is just as meaningful is the broader lessons on how to build and run an exceptional business that makes something people want and produces a Jaw Dropping Customer Experience.
