On What Matters

Reasons and Persons was my first introduction to academic philosophy, and my soft spot for the Parfitian approach of exploration via clever thought experiments is why I’m a fan of On What Matters.

It points at the exact questions that I think are important in moral philosophy, but the answers it provides are rather unsatisfactory, and there’s no better explanation of why than Tyler’s review.
